Counselling a sent text on samsung J3

Trying to find out if I can cancel a sent text message, with my huawei p8 if I sent a text by mistake I would hit the text 3 times and it would cancel it, but can't find it on this samsung J3.

I tried what you said MI5 but that delay isn't there, I've been thru every seting there is on this mob, but thanks

The only way I've known on a Samsung is as I've said above, so if that option isn't there in message settings I guess you can't do it.
