Hi There,

I hope this is the correct area. I have a Sony Xperia XZ Premium

I am receiving constant nuisance calls to my voicemail. The calls go straight to voicemail and seem to bypass the phone. These calls are recorded on voicemail but when I try and call the number it does not accept incoming calls.

Can anyone help and also is anyone else having this problem or am I being singled out?

Hello Martin,

Thank you for your message.

I had to use a "Sledgehammer" approach I'm afraid viz. Force Stopped  the Voicemail App on my phone plus blocking and deleting the 901 number. I have now switched everything back on again and "Touch Wood" things are back to normal.

Report the number as harassment to the psa.

Hi MI5,

There is no number available as there is no display - the calls go straight to voicemail -  the caller does not accept incoming calls.

The worst type of call...you can't check out the number, nor can you block them as they withhold it.......

All you can do is register for TPS then I guess, but if they wish to be persistent with this, changing your number may be the only way to stop it.

Is there any message left? Can you not just block the number? Switch voicemail off by dialling 1760 then answer the call.

Thank You Jonsie,

(I see you fly the flag of my favourite place on earth - especially Cha-am).

When I play the voicemail it is a babble of incoherent noise. When I try to return the call I am informed that the number does not accept incoming calls. Switching off voicemail does not solve the problem unfortunatel
