Battery Life - Can It Be Improved

Anonymous

Question for the group.

I have a SG Note 3 which I have had for about 9 months. It was a refurbished device from o2 and has o2 bloatware installed.

Over the months the amount of use I can get from the handset "appears" to have reduced. Typically I am charging it 1.5 to 2 times per day. That said I do hammer it. It gets a lot of use.

So my question is: would getting a new Samsung Original battery improve things or is it just the way it is?

Answers on the back of a postage stamp please. 😃😃

Well I removed the network lock from O2 (code from o2 themselves) and used an international ROM instead when I had my Galaxy S2. Installed a program which let me remove the unwanted bloatware. You may as well,  the O2 aftersale "technical support" is abysmal.

Think I'd better stick to the iPhone section where @Cleoriff will never venture Cat

But does it still have all the weird small things that nobody except me uses on the Note 3?  I always worry that I'll repeat my nightmare of replacing a Nokia 3310 with an 8210, having only played with the 8210 for a few minutes and not realising what was missing Surprised.

For example, on the note 3, the ftp client built in to "my files", (not the web browser), allows you to do uploads, (the web browser ftp does not).  Is that still in the note 4?  Exactly the sort of thing no review site thinks to mention.
