Android 4.4 KIT KAT

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

new version of Android Kitkat should roll out and will be available for couple new phones.

HTC One, S Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, 7 . and couple other. There wont be big changes, but should be faster and main thing save the battery. Does any one know more when we will get it?

That is Hong Kong firmware and is the latest released for your version.

Both my sim free S4's have updated over the air today. First one was a bit temperamental but is now complete. Can't see much difference at all so far though. Second one is updating now.

My phones are sim free (as opposed to unlocked)

There aren't any major visual changes - it's all under the bonnet stuff mainly.....

You'll have to let us know after it's settled down for a few days....

Well I have had kit kat on my phone for two full days now and battery life is DEFINITELY improved on my phone. I am only charging daily now and reckon battery usage has fallen 25%.
