Android 4.4 KIT KAT

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

new version of Android Kitkat should roll out and will be available for couple new phones.

HTC One, S Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, 7 . and couple other. There wont be big changes, but should be faster and main thing save the battery. Does any one know more when we will get it?

Last time I looked HTC said it was at "integration" stage, which means they have a ROM and are working on it.

It would if it is recognised as a current software bug. I never had a problem with the mini I trialled and my one has no problems either.....

Ok I just wondered. Then maybe there is another reason @Anonymous  is unable to use Wifi?...

Could it be a question of resetting their router? (You will note I am still very much at the learning stage) wink

Is the S4 Mini getting 4.4, I'd have thought so if the S3 Mini was?

Just seems a little weird that I got the phone in december, it updated software not long after and then the wifi went **bleep** up. And when I googled it it said it was a common problem with this phone that should be solved when the next update comes out .. which is the kitkat version. But if it's going to take much longer to be rolled out, or isnt being rolled out at all to o2 customers with my phone then I'm going to have to look at a new phone. Which sucks since it means buying out a nearly new contract.
