Adoptable storage problem

Anonymous
Not applicable
Ever since update 1.95.401.4 to my HTC 10 my adoptable storage has started failing. I'm guessing this is something to do with read / write speeds but it worked fine until the update.

Is there a fix or recommendations available?

Try a factory reset in case you have any corrupt files.

The problem there is that I need to back up the data on the sd card and it doesn't remain operational long enough to accomplish that. Was fine before the update

Understand, and that is the reason why I would never use adoptable storage.

Yes. Makes the phone pretty unusable as it has to be reset very frequently

Can't try a factory reset until I can back up the data on the card which is currently impossible due to the issue
