Accuweather Widget time stuck on BST

Anonymous
Not applicable

Please can anyone help as this is driving me mad! I use the pre-installed Accuweather widget on my SGS3, and for some reason the time displayed in large font has not updated now that the clocks have gone back one hour.  In the bottom right hand corner of the widget the time is displayed correctly, but the main display shows the time as one hour ahead (the time on the phone itself is correct).  I have tried turning wireless and GPS off and on, force closing the widget, clearing data, deleting current locations, rebooting the phone, nothing works!  I would like to continue using this widget if someone could help?  Many thanks!

I had the same problem this morning on my S3, stuck in an endless loop of updating.

1. Click on the accuweather clock widget on your screen
2. Click on the icon with the lines on it in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Now click on the refresh icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Your clock widget should now be showing the right time.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for taking the time to post!  It has just corrected itself in front of my very eyes, and I didn't do anything!  Maybe the developers got wind of the problem, or maybe it just takes 8 1/2 hours for the GMT correction to be applied!  Anyway, if it happens again I will try your fix!

Mine was the same so it seems it was a bit slow catching up.
