4G on my S4

Hi all

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, a 4G tarrif and am in a 4G area. However, I have no 4G signal and on my S4 I have no option to select 4G. Am I missing something?

That is ok I went offline so I did not see the following posts till just now .How is reception In your area. The signal strengths seem a bit low compared to 3g

Finally, my galaxy s4 now have 4g connectivity.

I have never had great reception on any network but o2 has been the best for me in North East London. Moving around my home it varies between H, H+ and now 4G. Did a speed test and got 20 mg download and 7 upload which was pretty similar as when using my Vodafone 4g sim in the same phone. Am sure it will be even quicker when I go into town too so am pretty happy now it's sorted Moby. How's yours doing?

I am getting 65mb download and 16.7mb upload! May as well cancel my virgin broadband!!

I have an unbranded SG4 and have seen the update. The servers are busy at the moment so I'm getting the update using KIES.

I've just downloaded the software update via Samsung Kies. (I tried over the air, but the servers were too busy).

My unbranded, O2 supplied, Galaxy S4 (mega) now has baseband 19505XXUDMH8 and 4G options.

All good.
