My contract ended in April this year and I paid extra for loss and theft insurance on it which I had to use when my phone was stolen in February. I went into my local o2 shop to change my tariff now my contract has ended and they told me there was no insurance on my account and that it had been taken off even though I haven’t requested for that to happen? I just want to know why this has happened and how I get insurance back on my device again?? Thank you

@Nickyb13

You need to pop in store or call O2 to buy your insurance again.

It would not be valid for a new hadset anyway, so would need renewing when you changed phones.

Link to O2 Insure here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/digital-services/o2-insurance

but there are other options if you Google for phone insurance.
