How on earth does anyone get 02 to respond to a clear network issue? All I receive is a text acknowledging the problem with one of their masts and providing the same text message over and over again - this has now been going on for over 5 weeks! Extremely poor service!

@TP3 If you've received a text acknowledging that there is a problem, then O2 are aware of it and are dealing with it. They never give timelines for repairs, as there are many reasons why it's taking as long as it is. It's not in O2's interest to see customers without service. As it's been some time, you might want to contact O2 customer service. They may offer a goodwill gesture, but that's not guaranteed. It never hurts to ask.

Call 202 from your mobile or 0800 032 1402 from any phone.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am. The 0800 number isn't available until 9 am.

Use Skype to call the 0800 number if you can't get a signal: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Off-Topic/A-Guide-To-Skype/m-p/1305104/highlight/true#M181823
