Finally got my switch up order completed online. A painful experience once again, as it is at every single iPhone launch.
Does anyone know whether the old phone has to be sent off to them or if I can drop it off in a store? I'd assume both are possible but I'm just curious.

I got mine on Amazon and got a good deal and there pay monthly deals so £160 for 6 months 0% APR thingy, so treated myself after a tough 6months..
Trying to persuade the wife to get an Series 10, but she loves here Garmin too much
To track delivery dates to a certain degree check out apple.com/uk as if the date there slips, then usually the o2 and other retailers dates slip, as people shop around or Apple hold back stock to fulfil there own orders
Also reading the thread on MacRumors, it looks like Three and Voda fell down as well,
And the iPhone 16's seem to support 5G SA

I called up and the guy told me to wait 72 hours and then they might be able to clear the order and/or process it. The alternative is that I try again online and see if I can get to the confirmation button.
Back online now with an estimated wait time of 20 minutes.

That's a bit crappy to be honest, and they should be able to clear it down,..
And yeah you really cant make it up, and for change its just not o2, Apple are having some issues with orders not showing on there side but then customer can...

My order supposedly went through with a conf. number but not received anything else yet. Is there usually a lag in correspondence?

My text came through about 45minutes after order confirmation, but still no email confirmation, and to be honest In would expect emails to be throttled so not to create extra load on the creaky web infrastructure..
Print off the order confirmation is always a good thing to do

I managed to queue and log back in, going to walk up to the O2 shop in town and pre-order on their system as it's less likely to completely collapse now they've implemented the queuing system.
Tried to process the order myself again but it started to error and I can't be doing with that all over again!
