On Tuesday 30 October, Apple held a special event in which they announced new Macbook's & Mac Mini's. They also unveiled two brand new iPad's which are their best ones yet, and which mark the biggest change to iPad since, well, iPad.
The new iPad Pro's will be available to pre-order on O2 from this Friday, 2 November, on the links below.

@Norwichred it really does depend on what your ecosystem involves. Its great if everyone is on the same page as it were and buy into that process. Doesn't work for me as I work between multiple operating systems and computers with and without network access. It would make my life so much easier if I could just drag a file to a usb stick then transfer that way rather than the logon sequence and transfer (I don't use dropbox/google drive either etc unless its a last ditch option) for a few files. Biggest pain is the transfer of mp3's which is just ridiculous in having to use itunes which I detest full stop. There are probably alternatives but compared to a PC drag n drop, Apple fails considerably there.
I have been seriously researching into getting an Ipad Pro (some great videos on youtube about notetaking and what it can do as you also describe) but the main sticking point is the lack of a command line - there are some things I just know is about 100% faster typing in a couple of commands than point & click.
Might have a way around it using a Raspberry Pi and USB but need to er, experiment a little in an Apple store

No updates, im guessing it really will be around 20th before we see any movement on 64gb and the end of the month for the other sizes

Just called o2 again. To see if orders placed around 2nd Novmeber would have a shorter waiting time than on the website. They told me that for any sizes above 64gb the wait time is 4-6 weeks (and they put than 4 weeks because 6 weeks puts customers off ordering)
Anyone have any other info?

I assure you that is 100% false, and I apologise you were told that by our CS agent. We're always as transparent as possible and in terms of dates, and we'll always give customers the most accurate ETA we have. If we expect it to be up to 6 weeks, that's what we'd quote. If when you ordered it provided a 4 week delivery time, then in most if not all instances, that's when we hope to deliver it based on our stock intake estimates - if not sooner.
I know how eager everyone is to receive their shiny new iPad Pro (it really is stunning in the flesh!), but our CS team's won't have any additional info over what was provided to you at the time of ordering. As soon as there's progress, you'll receive notification from us that it's on the way.

The Apple Store dates have changed slighly as well i was looking at the 11 inch 512gb Space grey and it use to say 27th Nov-3rd Dec and now it says 22nd Nov-27th Nov.
So it seems the wait time is getting shorter, i wonder if its the same for o2?

In my very limited experience with my main telco (O2 only has an ipad for me, the family’s two phones and apple watches are with another supplier) the answer to that would be no.
Apple watch was freely available from apple but not from the telco.
