Hi everyone! 

 

Thanks for joining the O2 Community! (Or if you haven't yet but would like to, you can register here!). I'm very happy to welcome you here. The O2 Community is a great place to get help and advice on O2 products and services, provide feedback and suggestions for the network, and have general chit chat. :slight_smile:

 

My name's Martin, one of the Community Managers here on the O2 forum. I work with @lewys-gp and @RafaC who are also part of the Community team. Personally, I've been working on communities for the last 8 years and have been with O2 since February 2016! 

 

This thread is all about introducing yourself to the Community and we'd love to hear a bit more about you! Things like: 

 

  • Pay monthly, Pay as you Go or Business Customer? 
  • What phone you currently have? 
  • Hobbies and interests? 
  • Random or cool facts about you?

Anything that causes stress and anxiety has an effect on your well being

No matter how minor, customer service should be at the very least helpful

I worked in The O2 call centre for a number of years before the outsourcing overseas

That was the a business decision that has caused irreparable harm to O2's reputation

Agree - I'm always polite, and try not to take our my frustration on the advisors, as I know it's not usually their fault (I worked on a banking Helpdesk, so I sympathise!) but all too often now, it just feels like the customer service teams don't care at all. I never used to have issues with O2, so it's especially disappointing. Outsourcing customer service never seems to improve the situation - the cost saved in salaries will likely be incurred in complaints, and like you said, reputation.

Any chance we can spend less time messing around with nonsense and get an answer to an issue?  All I want is VAT invoices.  Why is such a simple thing so difficult and why would anyone think it is a good idea to stop them being available for download?  I am sure I am not the only one who uses the phone in their business.  Just send me VAT invoices instead to trying to create a friendship group on your (un)help site.  I do not need any more fiends
