Hey all,

You'll know me as the guy that brings you O2 news and announcements and regularly pops in to offer support wherever I can, but today I wanted to create a bit of a different thread to remind our customers of the support available to them.

Understandably, many of us may be in need of some support, or even just someone to talk to about things. You may be worried about finances, your mental health may be impacted due to various reasons, or it may even be about a loved one. We understand, and we hear you. That's why we've zero rated many popular support resources that I wanted to remind you of below.

Calls to the NHS 111 help line have always been free, and you can also visit the NHS website without using your data, along with a number of other important websites that many people will rely on for support during this time.

Thanks for this @Chris_K. A great deal of support resources listed there. In these uncertain times and with an increase in household bills and finances there is something for everyone. Post covid, we have seen a massive increase in mental health issues so that's good to see.

Thanks for posting x

Two suggestions, @Martin-O2 or @RafaC or @Breanna:

1. Include a note about SMS to these organizations - many phones warn, incorrectly, that sending a txt to a 5-digit short code "may" incur a charge - so clarification on this would help reinforce the message that all access to these support resources is free, not just the relevant websites.

2. Can this be added as a shortcode guide, for ease of reference, please? A burst of posts about SMS to Samaritans being "chargeable" appeared earlier, and I could have answered quicker if the #short code was easy to guess..  😖
