On Wednesday 20th February, Samsung unveiled several new devices at their Unpacked 2019 event. We're please to confirm the new range of Samsung Galaxy S10 devices - including the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10  and Galaxy S10 Plus - are all available to purchase now on O2.

What tariffs is it on?
With O2 Custom Plans, we put that in your hands - every part of it. Choose your own upfront cost, Device Plan length and data allowance. Want to pay more and pay off the device in a short period? You can go to as little as 3 months. Want to pay less, over a longer period? You can go up to 36 months to spread the cost.

What are the specs?
With up to 5 cameras with the S10 Plus, and 3 separate S10 devices, there's too much to list but you can find the full official spec sheet right here.

Here are some of the important bits though point_down

A. This is possible thanks to the power of O2 Refresh. With O2 Refresh, you can upgrade at any time by simply paying off the remainder of your device plan agreement. You can off-set much or all of this cost by using O2 Recycle to trade-in your existing device.

Pre-order / Availability / Order Info

Just a voice of reason here.

It's not surprising people are angry when some of them have traded their old phones in, on the back of a promise they would get their new one on March 8th. So they are without a device.

Additionally, these same people will start paying for a new contract whilst still waiting for the device to be delivered.

We also have customers who rely on a device to run their businesses.

It's like paying for a car you have yet to receive. Though that would never happen.

In 6 years of being here I have never seen such a badly organised Samsung release on O2.

I've just noticed. Born in 1969. That expains the perpetual anger syndrome. Give it a rest or you'll have a stroke or worse! Have you had your blood pressure tablets?

I was born in 1945, want to make a cheeky comment to me @Chrismartin1992?

Not particularly because you've been respectable and respectful.

My response was in reply to being called a retard essentially and also particularly aimed at stressful anger not at age.

R.e your other point. I understand the frustration I really do it's not great. And my comment wasnt aimed to those like yourself just adding comments or adding a single comment but to those perpetually complaining ie the other delightful gentleman who is making it into an almost life or death situation.

If you notice I said some not all! So it was definitely not aimed at the whole collective.

I also understand you're an O2 customer like ourselves and do rely on them for the updates and I also appreciate your not fussed a out EE etc. Neither am I. But to understand who to complain to does rely on knowing that other networks have issues.

As what can O2 do to help the situation other than be a messenger for Samsung and Apple and the like?

R.e. a bad launch - me neither. It's not been great. Far from it.

I understand the frustration because it's not what you want to hear and theres the right to be angered (to a sensible degree!!)

Re the business contract it would be poor management to leave yourself deviceless imo so that would be their own fault imo.

Theres nothing to argue. People were complaining, you were the worse offender by a mile and I called you out on it (because it was cringy) and you took offence to the truth. Nothing more nothing less. Move on

@Chrismartin1992 seeing as you don’t mind waiting can I get mine before yours? Please slight_smile because the reason I pre ordered was to get it on launch day not 12 days after launch...

People may have no choice if they were trading in so they could upgrade.

Still doesn't answer the point about paying for goods you haven't received. O2 being quick to take your upfront cost and THEN contract payments monthly whilst they have failed to deliver the goods.

Re the car analogy I mentioned. I drove a company car, it was changed every 3 years. I paid quite a sum for the privilege so it wasn't free. When the time came to change, I had chosen my new car, paid the upfront cost and returned my old one the same day I took possession of the new one.

That's called good business practice.

The problem with this launch is the conflicting information. " Pre-Order now and get your phone on release day" It hasn't happened. So O2's business model has failed badly. Yet again it's their customer who are left in the lurch.

Anyway, enough from me. I'm not waiting for the phone but can understand the frustration and anger of those who have pre-ordered and received nothing.

Hi @Billy95

Yeah I don't mind at all genuinely. I did also preorder to get it on launch but these things happen from time to time and I dont believe the witch hunt is necessary sometimes.

Samsung have been faultless on any of the other launches that I've had so can overlook this error by them.
