Hi Guys,

Since 8am today, our 2G voice and data service has been restored.

Our engineers are continuing to work on the 3G service and we anticipate a full restoration of services soon.

Please have a look at our blog post for more info.

Thanks

Abs

What about those of us that are self employed and need our phones to help run our business?

Looking forward to getting a service back - it has been very, very inconvenient especially as all four in our family are with O2. Can you also tell me the status of the mast near Gaydon Warks as I was seeing problems even before the major outage yesterday lunchtime. I only found out about the mast problems when I checked on the O2 support site.

No service and I never use the internet on my phone, only use it for texts and calls, so only ever on 2G. Will we get credit for the disruption?

No, mobile phone providers don't guarantee an uninterrupted service.

Its a good thing I sleep at night and didn't need to use my mobile after 10pm. However I did need to call my office manager and discuss coming to work late and couldn't so I was forced to call from home and discuss this and that will cost me money??????? I understand errors are made and systems crash we are human and we make mistakes and as we humans maintain the systems and write the software mistakes are going to happen. I am not sticking up for 02 but that's life so lets see what they do to compensate us as users under contract to them and pay the bill on time every month?????????

Not being funny mate but they are not answering the question on compensation on the blog either!!! Is it just ur policy to ignore these questions??? Ur CEO has just said "all effected customers will be compensated in an O2 style" live on SKY NEWS so come on tell us what does that mean??? Stop avoiding the point and give us an answer please!!!!
