Hey everyone! How is your Thursday going?
If you noticed a few changes to the Community today, don't worry, it's not your imagination. We're really pleased to officially announce an updated version of our O2 Community Home page!
Many of you have provided valuable feedback about the home page over the past few months and we wanted to say a big thank you!
We have made sure to include as much of it as possible in this version and continue working towards future improvements. Here a short list of changes!
Please note also that the Ideas section has now been archived which was also something that was asked about. Thank you very much everyone who posted an idea or voted for one, it's much appreciated!
Please do continue posting and discussing your ideas and feedback in the Feedback board. We do love to hear all you have to say and we make sure all your feedback is shared with O2.
Let us know what you think of these changes, and as always, keep your feedback coming.

I am experiencing the unread posts issue again.
ie, when a post is moved or merged it still shows as unread even when I go back and re-read it.
This is going to be a nightmare with all the locking of new Apple posts and merging them into the Megathread.
I had 4 stuck on unread when @BiancaM1 locked and merged 2 new posts this morning.
The only way I could rid myself of them was to 'Mark all posts read'.
That's fine this morning as there were only these 4 posts left....but when it gets busy, I cant mark all posts read otherwise I will miss new posts. *sighs*...:smileysad:
So glad someone’s mentioned it.. thought it just me

@Martin-O2@Marjo I'm going to bump this thread again.
We have mentioned this on many occasions and it's still an annoying issue
It relates to the Index or How to guides. When someone posts on these threads you are totally unable to access the post immediately.
I will use this one as an example https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1...
Since the 3rd October we have had 16 new posts on this guide.
When I get an email to show something new has been posted, I click on the email and instead of taking me directly to the new post, I am taken to the start of the thread!!. (This also happens if I access a post via the unread post section)
I then have to scroll down pages and pages until I eventually get to the new post. Luckily this particular guide is only 2 pages long but many others have 6-7 pages of comments and questions.
It's time consuming and if honest, tiring and a tad boring.
If it can't be fixed, I suggest the guides should be locked allowing no further comments. This would encourage new members to create a new post of their own and we could refer them to each relevant guide.
It's been reported as an anomaly more times than I can count. Every time a promise is made it will be looked into and there is never any improvement.

Hey @Cleoriff I know this one is very frustrating but the good news is it's been identified as a bug and the problem is being worked on. We'll let you know when we have confirmation it's going to be fixed.
