O2 will offer Apple’s latest products starting on 22nd September 2017, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning 15th September at www.o2.co.uk/iphone, in store, voice and online, with iPhone X pre-order beginning Friday 27th October

Looking at the web it seems as though crackgate has begun already. Get a good case or face huge repair bills. The glass doesn’t seem to be as strong as claimed. I for one might stick with my 7 for now.

Was told on live chat not to worry as I would receive it on the 3rd. Still no delivery info and live chat told me today to expect a very long wait.. makes no sense as other providers have a 1week delivery date for new orders. 

And how can they not know when they are getting more stock in? They must know something

Ordered mine day after pre-order opened. Spoke to online chat and they said that it would be 25/11/17. Is anyone else getting a similar ball park? I ordered the 256 space grey (likely the most popular model).

I ordered mine 9 am on preorder day and have been told to expect a very long wait by live chat.. happy days

No I ordered the silver 256gb it will go with my Apple Watch lol but yeh I git 1 week I should have it bye live chat not sure about yours tho plus I don’t believe them saying1 week to I’m ofbto speck to them on the phone I can’t wait any longer going to push them to tell me something so if they do I’ll right back and say what they said to me

Ordered 256Gb Space Grey at 08:40 on 27th and was told 8th December this afternoon.  That said, Live Chat have told me some seriously tall tales over the last week so pinch of salt with that...

I think the fact is that O2 do not have a clue when they will have stock. They may be overestimating to cover themselves, hence the whole 56 day clause for every day the order is delayed. 

I'm expecting mine in December realistically, anything sooner I'll take happily.

It’s not just O2. It seems everywhere has the stock shortage.
It’s nothing to do with O2 anyway. It’s all over the internet that it is in fact Apple that has failed these companies by not producing enough stock in the first place.

True it is ultimately Apple's fault. Would be better if O2 were honest and consistent with their responses. The online chat person guaranteed mine would be delivered click and collect on 25/11/17. But there are people who ordered on release day being told December. They should just concede that they don't know and that it could be any time between end of November and January 2018.

Just got of the phone the person said she doesn’t know when there coming bk in stock so it’s a waiting game she said it’s not good but it isn’t o2 it’s apple not giving o2 the amount they’ve asked for so just wait I’m going to keep checking my emails and text messages but it won’t be next week I get the phone but it will be a boneless if it did but I doubt due to apple not having the phones on demand
