Hi!

I got this o2 SIM with my Volt upgrade of broadband from Virgin.

I have the SIM. I do not have a handset for the SIM. I do not need it.

Please can I cancel my o2 element of Volt?

I was told I could, but I can't see how.

I do not have a handset to be able to retrieve codes to get through security. There was a security questioned set up at the beginning, but I didn't make not of it. When asked what the answer is without being asked the question to prompt, I don't know what to say!!

Thank-you

Marie-Louise

You can't have Volt without an O2 SIM. The two are linked to give you double data on O2 and a speed boost on Virgin.

You can only cancel the SIM without penalty in the first 14 day, otherwise you may have to pay off that part of the contract.

You should have not been told anything different.

Oh no!!

I was told in my build up chat to agreeing to the contract with Virgin that I could cancel the o2 SIM element.

My 14 days are almost done, hence the asking about! I can't seem to talk to anyone or get through the security checks.

I appreciate you giving me more clarity then Virgin or o2!! Thank-you

I suspected it would be Virgin, noted for 'misleading people.  Had to fight them myself but fortunately I knew the rules better than them.
