So I also have porting issues with my new SIM. Finally got through to someone this morning and they said that they had no record of my request to port my old number and my PAC code. This is despite an email from O2 when I ordered the SIM acknowledging my old number. so apparently now that has been registered properly. My question is should I have received a text or email about it? How do I know that I am nor going to have further issues?
I have a terminally ill relative who needs to be in constant contact with me and her panic and fall alarm are registered to my phone number so this is very urgent. I am at a loss to know what to do now

Number ports appear to be taking a bit longer than usual right now. Up to 48 hours in some cases.
This looks like something you’d need to call O2’s customer service team about – give them a call on 202, 0344 809 0202,
Thanks
