I send messages and it says messages failed to send, but the recipient receives the message, this haas been going on for mouths, I’ve restarted my phone and am on latest software, thanks

O2 doesn't support the delivery reports that are native to phone firmware.

You need to start all messages with *0# to get a proper delivery report.

I have numbers that start with 0 and +44 still happens

It will happen for any number.

You need to type *0# at the start of every message and then you will get a delivery report from O2.

The phones firmware will still report a message failure but the O2 delivery report will be accurate.

Not bother by the report just want it to stop say message failed when it’s actually going through

Looks like something in either iOS15 or in the O2 carrier profile.

It may get fixed in an update of either I guess but I can imagine it's not high priority.

Thank you am thinking leave o2 when can as since had this there been an update and not changed it’s so annoying as your never fully sure there getting the messages till they text back
