New sim not working

I’ve moved from sky to O2, sim came today. Put it in, tried to text SWAP to 20220 and the text has bounced back. Phone saying no sim.

Unable to make calls while roaming.

I was able to make calls up to lunch time today and after that I now only hear the bundle call message then I get a disconnect. I tried multiple local networks + data connection works. any ideas?
