My WiFi signal keeps dropping every few seconds. My tablet doesn't do this. How can I establish if it's my phone, or my wifi? It's driving me mad.

Sounds like your phone.

Have a look at if you are connecting over 5GHz, 2.4GHz or WiFi 6E what router are you using , and if your phone is auto negotiating what WiFi band it is trying to connect to.

If it still doesnt work, then you need to contact  the manufacturer of your phone.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Sorry for sounding stupid, but how do I check that? It's a Sky router.

You can download an app to check the WiFi settings, or go into the set up of the router itself @Robm1955 .

The type of connection would be in the settings of the connection.

What phone do you have?

It's on the little card or sticker on your router.

Sorry for not answering sooner, but I've been unwell. I'm still losing wifi, but it doesn't seem to be happening as often. I've got the details of my router, and I am going to following suggestions given, and will report back.
