I'm travelling abroad in Canada and can't access voicemail.  The automated message is not helpful.

The 901 number doesn't work.

No doesn't help.  There's no access number in Canada for O2 voicemail.

I can't listen to any voicemail messages.

Not even this way, @Ipound -

There are some countries where 901 doesn't work and the 44802... number doesn't work either (The Philippines is one that I know of - the 44802 number seems to have been specifically blocked there),
However there is a work-around:
Turn off your phone (or take the sim out ).
Call your mobile number from another phone, and it will go to your voicemail.
Then follow the instruction above to get your voicemail from a landline by entering * and the Pin etc,etc

@Ipound

Remote access will only work if you have a PIN setup already.

Message O2 and they may be able to help.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
