I am trying to switch from EE to o2. I am struggling to activate my SIM. With old SIM in I can’t send the “SWAP” text it fails to send. Any advice please?

You don't need to text swap as that only applies if moving from one o2 sim to another @Bigbear11 .
As you are joining from another provider you need to give o2 your PAC so your number can be moved across.

The process of texting SWAP in the case of porting in is supposed to inform the system that the new O2 account is ready to receive the port in request.
It should be initiated from the O2 sim card.

It's not in the porting guide above - when was that added to the o2 process?
