Swapping number

Received my new phone on Saturday after a week of getting messed around after the first one went missing. Had no service on the phone whatsoever since Saturday, today my old Vodafone number should have been transferred over by 6pm now currently without any working phone. Can anyone help as call centre wasn’t any help as I’m waiting on phone calls from the hospital
