Strangers calling me saying they have a missed call from me when I haven’t called them

Hi 

I have twice recently had people who I don’t know call me and say they have missed a call from me. The first time, the outward cal that I didn’t make even appeared in my phones call history - it was sat on the coffee table so i know I didn’t dial the number, and this morning i got a call from a different number saying I had phoned them but the call isn’t in my call history, any advice as to what’s happening? iPhone 11.

Sounds like scammers are currently using your number on their fake number system to call people @Han_R.

Basically they pretend the number they are calling from is yours so people don't know who it is.

Eventually they will move on but for now there is not a lot you can do...
