Hi. Whilst trying to set up the answerphone for a dual sim iPhone 11 - both 02 accounts - standard sim & eSim the message prompts me to choose an account. The only option is Personal account, the business account is not listed. Is anybody able to advise please.

@MH6975

I've not set up VVM on a dual sim phone with 2 O2 sims, but I have with an O2 and an EE sim.

I had to set up from both numbers separately as trying from just one number didn't work.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi MI5. Thanks for the response. Like you I’ve also previously had the dual sim on O2 & EE and had to forfeit access to one voicemail. I believe it is possible to do with 2 x O2 sims but finding it impossible to speak with O2 customer services - I just get caught up in recorded messages and then cut-off.

Have you tried this:

1) Dial 901 from the account that isn't showing up on the custom voicemail screen (if you don't know how to do this, click on Keypad and at the top you should see your primary account, if you click it, you should be able to choose your different account to dial the call from).

2) Setup custom greeting from your prompts.

3) Go back to visual voicemail and you'll see under greetings your other account listed.

4) If you try to go to the second account and record a greeting you will get an error (com.apple.mobilephone error 1035).

5) Reboot your phone

6) Dial 901 again from your account that wasn't working (same as step 1)

7) Choose custom voicemail and record a custom message (or select the existing one).

😎 Go back to visual voicemail and your greetings, you should see both accounts and when you click on each one, they should show that there is a custom greeting that you can change separately now.

To call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

Thanks madasaf1sh, I had tried that to no avail but I’m about to eat my tea and then I’ll try again!!! Perhaps I missed a step or something.

And MI5 appreciate your advice on the customer services - I’ve just come across from 20 years of EE and they were pretty good at talking - I’m sure you can imagine my frustrations 😉

Unfortunately it's a struggle talking to O2 right now.

Just lie and make out you want to buy something and they'll probably answer the phone.
