Solved: Reset Phone

Hi I have a Samsung S8 mobile. I have done a hard reset to it as I am going to sell it. It is locked to 02.

Does this mean that the phone is still locked to 02 and would it be classified as unlocked ?

Doing a hard reset will not remove the carrier locks. It needs unlocking by O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
