O2 messing me around

I bought a iwatch in august and couldn’t connect it to o2.  I have been on a saga since. Here is a summary of what they have got me to do:

I was on o2 business (paid by my workplace) and they said o2 business is not compatible with watch.  They moved me to 02 consumer (which I now pay myself).
still not working. They got me to factory reset my phone and watch endless times.  Endless hours spent on phone to o2.  Hours spent standing in o2 shop on two occasions, with more resets.
they told me too numerous contradictory stories to list on here.
the advised me to change to esim to solve problem which o have done and that has created its own hassles.
they then told me it was because I had a new account which they advised me to get after 10+ years managing our workplace o2 account).   They said try it again after one month of account in place.   Nothing.   They said try it every month and it will def work be December. 5 monthly resets later. Nothing.
I discovered this forum in December. Got very helpful person who looked into it and said he had escalated it to 02 technical and they would look at it in few days.  A few days later (24th Dec) all service stopped suddenly on my account. I think unlikely to be a coincidence.   I had to go to local phone shop who put a payg sim with new number on my phone as a temp measure over Christmas.  I’m still on it and o2 telling me there is nothing wrong with it and getting me to reset my connections.
I try again today and get an automated message to say that there is a mast down in my area - total nonsense as my payg sim is working fine.
after 20 years with o2 I have had enough.  But that doesn’t help me as I am still sitting with a £500 watch that won’t link to data and a number that no one knows 😠

They also told me it was because I had poor credit because I was a ‘new’ customer.    I have enough credit stating on my 02 account to pay the watch data plan for over a year.    They just tell me anything they like 😠
