Not receiving texts after upgrading to SIM only contract

Yesterday I upgraded to a SIM only contract with o2, keeping the same number. I used an esim and have removed my old SIM. Since I did the upgrade I have not been receiving text messages. I phoned o2 yesterday and they said it was an issue in my area, which would resolve by 8pm. The problem is ongoing and o2 have told me their systems are upgrading so they can't access my account at the moment. I can't get any of my two factor authentication text messages so need to resolve this ASAP. Can anyone assist please? Thanks.

Not something we can help with here as this is a customer to customer Community there is no O2 input
