I placed a order last night as I was on the screen to pay up front fee the site crashed, the upfront fee went from my bank, but I haven't received any order confirmation, so I have no idea if the order actually went through, I have been told that a order confirmation can take upto 24 hrs I have never heard this before is this true

If the order didn't go through the money won't be with O2.
It will be held by your bank as pending funds and will be returned to your cleared balance in a few days, in line with your bank's policy.
