I’ve just change to an eSIMs with a new tariff now my iphone won’t to 4g if there is not wifi

Try resetting your network settings.

i tried that but still wont go to 4g if there is no wifi

looking into it further i think its to do with my esim.  I have two sims primary and travel, at the moment only the travel is working the primary isn't i only worked that out when I look at my signal only the travel one is showing its connected if i turn that off I no longer get phone calls or messages, any suggestions

Make sure the ESIM is turned on in your SIM manager.

 

Take out the Travel SIM then reinstall the ESIM via my O2.

If that works then reinstall the Travel SIM

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
