Misinformed about Samsung Watch LTE

Hi

I moved to o2 on a SIM only deal due to getting new watch and being able to add on the LTE watch plan. I was told by customer services and also the store I went into that I would be able to use the watch for calls/texts separately from my phone. I specifically asked if I would be able to do this is for example my phone dies. After faffing around getting my watch to work now it turns out it only works on the LTE as long as my phone is on. Where do I stand with this, can I cancel my o2 SIM only contract as the only reason I moved to o2 was because they offer the LTE watch plan. Apparently with EE you don't need to have your phone on for watch to work?

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you

See links below

Or you can call them from 8am to 8pm on 0808 002 0202 or 0800 081 0255
