Iphone notifications

Why is it that sometimes I do not receive notifications for some texts in the form of sound and banners. Its not always, just sometimes. I had this problem with my previous phone and have just upgraded to 13 pro max so expected the problem to disappear but it is happening exactly the same. Has anyone else had or have this problem please

Can't help but I had same thing with phone calls aswell there's a general setting in settings but there's only options and if remember phone needs to be on all the time otherwise it blocks incoming calls and texts.  Plus you have no other option to change it.  Never found out how to get round it.  Maybe others have had same problem.

It's a known bug in IOS and Apple have shown no intention of fixing it.
