Incomplete/Partial Port

I've recently been migrated to O2 from VirginMedia which seems to have been complicated by the fact that I was abroad at the time of the transfer. I was subsequently sent an O2 SIM which I have installed and can now make/receive calls as well as sending SMS; I cannot however receive SMS messages. Can the porting team be contacted through this forum or do I need to go via customer services?

Forgot to add - if I put the old SIM card back in, I can receive SMS but nothing else works - hence my conclusion that the port has only partially worked.

@DavideUK

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply - I'll try one of the contract methods suggested.
