Hello, i was having issues with my SIM card which used to always report a SIM failure anytime i turned on my phone, and would not let me call or text or use data. I have since resolved this issue through just reinserting the SIM after cleaning it.

The SIM card now shows as being connected to O2-UK and is at full bars of service, I am able to make calls and send texts but I still do not have any data. I can turn the option on or off, but it doesn't do anything, and the personal hotspot option is greyed out.

Any help would be appreciated slight_smile

You may need to call O2 @teddy2 and check if iData has been applied correctly

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) OR 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

@teddy2

Try resetting your network settings.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
