I’ve suddenly started having no signal most of the time, never had signal issues before. Most often noticed at home and work, I haven’t changed locations so not like I’ve gone somewhere new to not have signal.followed all the steps online but no joys. So I need a new sim?

@lsemolous So either poor signal where you are or a faulty handset.

As you have changed SIM cards it may be an idea to try it in another handset. 

If the signal is then better, it's your handset, if it's the same it's the signal.

It's definitely the signal. Either o2 gives me the signal I'm paying for, or I stop paying the contract

If you @lsemolous do stop paying O2, please make sure that you pay what you owe and leave in an orderly fashion.

 

O2 are ruthless when it comes to chasing debts, so if they perceive that you owe them money, they will sell the "debt" to a Debt Collection Agency and trash your credit score in the process. 👍

They can try. I 100% guarantee they won't get very far. I just don't think I should pay for a contract when, 99.99% of the time, I don't even get what I'm paying for!

You need to be 100% legally certain what it is you're paying for.

I suspect that it won't be, what you think it is.

If you did manage to leave your contract without penalty you would need to return the handset if part of a Refresh deal

That means you would lose any payments you had already made to the handset

Have you not received the email about the price increase in April @lsemolous ?

That email allows you to end the airtime agreement whilst allowing you to carry on paying for the hanset

Thus allowing you to change network without any stress
