I have attempted to order a new phone as my previous ones contract expired and it had broken after that, but no matter what I can't contact a real person to tell them that I cannot communicate by phone or verify anything by text. It's been extremely distressing since I need it for work, new phone arrived and I was asked for a DPD pin number sent by text... I don't even understand how I can ask for it to be sent by email since the bloody virtual "assistant" doesn't even understand anything or try to direct you to a real human. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I'm losing composure a bit and really need help.

You can always pop in store with photo ID to upgrade.

If you have a physical sim, that can be put into any other phone to receive the text too.

The phone has already had an attempted delivery, so I don't wish to pay twice and be on two simultaneous contracts, and I don't have anyone in my life so can't borrow a phone on short notice. Thank you for the attempted advice though.

Contact the sales team then to rearrange delivery and give an alternative phone number to send the PIN to – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Thanks
