I have changed to SIM only and there is an outstanding balance of my previous contract of £8.60. I cancelled my DD I case you accidentally carried on taking payments so how do I pay you this balance?

You basically ignored what you are told to about not cancelling Direct Debits, as you still owe o2 money when you cancel.. (the mind boggles)
You will need to contact o2 on 0800 902 0217 and there may be additional charges for paying late...

They didn’t tell me not to cancel DD and being as contract period had expired and been paid off despite them telling me they I owed them £860 instead of £8.60 (the mind boggles) I didn’t trust that they knew what they were doing. I guess I will have to write a good old fashioned letter!
PS they don’t answer the 0800 number or chat online but thanks for the advice anyway.
