I had a phone for my Father who died in January. Since then I have been trying to close the account. I do not have the phone or simm anymore so are unable to get the code to verify who I am. How can I close this account. Please do not reply using the phone number as I do not have access to it. I have to say it is extremely hard to get any answers and talk to someone who can actually help.

There is nothing people can do here, as this is not customer services or live chat.
Also remove your email address as there are scammers and spammers who look at this forum, and you are liable
