I received a text from O2 on Saturday saying "Renew before 21/07/25 and we'll add an extra 10GB of data to use over 30 days". I topped up today and renewed my £5 Big Bundle, and 10 hours later this data has still not been added.

It takes 5 to 7 days to be added.
It may also be "virtual" credit in that it doesn't show on your balance but will be used before your normal allowance.

Obviously fully aware of that, thanks, however, as O2 sent the text they are obviously offering it, possibly as a tempter for users to increase their bundles in the future.

I think it's probably just a generic text sent out then to the masses
