I got a new phone and package with an eSIM. When trying to set it up I am told that my old iPhone’s sim does not support eSIM transfer and that I should contact O2. Can you advise me what I need to do. Thanks

You need to login to myo2 and download the new esim that is available in this menu
If you cant get there then you need to call customer servies Guide: How to find help & contact O2
