Why have I had an email saying one of my phones are not 4g compatible when both of them are running on 4g.

O2 error
Not unusual these days
They are just warning you that you may be affected once they turn off 3G
on 10-12-2024 18:54
Depends if they are PAYG which switch to 3G to make calls

Will still go via 2g like in the good old days.

That depends whether O2 can find someone to fire up the boilers
on 10-12-2024 19:27
Or if O2 can be **bleep** to keep PAYG going at all.

I can't understand why they do keep it going
Same as I can't understand why anyone would pay £10/month on PAYG and think it's not a contract by any other name
on 10-12-2024 21:07
Only useful for people unable to qualify for a contract I guess.

Many other networks 30 day deals don't require credit check if you pay by recurring card payment.
Maybe O2 will drop big bundles and keep the rolling plans. Might be the way to go
