Hi I'm currently in turkey ..been here 10 days .I bought a SIM to use here ..I still have lots of data left on it but I can't text my mum in the UK now ...I've switched SIM back to 02 and it said I was out of data so I just topped it up ..says I've incurred £30 of charges already?

I still can't text after going in my 02 SIM? Any ideas what I can do

Unless you have an Ultimate Plan you can't use your allowance to roam in Turkey

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Find a restaurant, bar or hotel with free wifi and you will be able to text on WhatsApp if your mum has it or on iMessage if using iPhones, otherwise you don't need data to send a regular sms text.
