Last week, I moved from Virgin to O2, and my mobile number was ported. However, whilst some people can connect to my phone, some other's cannot. For example, my wife is on Virgin. I can call her. She can text me without any problem, but when she phones me, there is no connection. I've read that this could be caused by a problem with the port process.

It can be a problem with the port not completing @PeterB18 and general advice is to keep rebooting your phone every hour or so.
The other problem is, ports don't happen at the weekend and as it's Good Friday, this could be the reason.
I think CS opens at 10am so you could contact them?
If you call O2 on 202 or 0344 809 0202 or use O2's social media to help by messaging them on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

Thank you.
I reported the issue to Customer Services last Thursday and they couldn't resolve the problem so the issue was referred to the Technical Support team. I haven't heard from them but I've tried calling my number again and it's working now, so no further action is required.
If this resolution was due to someone's intervention, thank you. If it wasn't, it means that it took 7 days for the 'porting' of my old number to be completed!
