Hi,

I upgraded to a new Samsung around 6 weeks ago. Since having the new phone my calls will cut off within seconds of someone answering or it won't even connect to ring someone, my signal will keeps disappearing continuously. The signal will return, I will try and call again, and the same thing keeps on happening! My signal strength is strong, until I try make/receive a call. Recieving text messages is no problem.

Currently I'm using WiFi calling but once I'm out the house, I don't have this option. I'm at a loss what else to do.

Thanks

@Ashleighgodwin

Have you checked your network status? https://status.o2.co.uk/

Community help here Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Or you may need a new sim. You can get one by calling O2 on any number in this guide

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum Welcome

@Ashleighgodwin

Also check if you have 5g enabled in your settings (if you have a 5g phone).

If so, turn it to 4g/3g/2g as it may be stumbling trying to find a 5g signal.

Hi @Ashleighgodwin , hope you're having a good week so far! Sorry to hear you were having calling issues. Did any of the suggestions above help you out with this or are you still experiencing issues? It would be great to hear back from you. slight_smile

Hi,

So I switched it to 4G/3G/2G - disabled 5G. And although now calls now stay connected, the person on the other end of the line cant hear me! So I'm back onto WiFi calling.

Is getting a new SIM the only thing left to do?

Thanks

So I put my SIM in an old phone and it works just fine. So it appears to be my phone!

What else can I do?

I'd contact Samsung to get it checked and repaired https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/
