Call waiting

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have a Nokia phone and I notice there is a 'call waiting' option in Call Settings which usually isn't ticked or active.

I assume this gives a little beep on the phone when someone else is trying to call you during a phone call? Or does it do something else?

Can I use Call waiting on 02 and if so how much is it?

Yes, it's always activated on my phones.

Operation differs by phone but on all you get the call incoming and the screen shows options to end current call and answer new call or to put current call on hold and answer new call or to reject new call.

You also get a beep in the earpiece to alert you and yes, it is a free service on every network.

Call waiting is free and it alerts you to another incoming call whilst you are on a call.

You will be able to swap between the 2 calls or end one and continue on the other etc.

That sounds good. Have you actually used it with 02?

How do you swap between the calls?

And it's definitely free?
