Hi All

 

New Iphone 11 - why can't I receive and make calls - all saying call failed

You sim isn't activated.

If this is an upgrade, use your old sim or do a sim swap if it doesn't fit Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update 

If a new contract, you need to contact customer service Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

The best number to call on appears to be 0800 977 7337
