My battery is dying at 70% and turning off, when it restarts, it’s on 10% and when plugged in it charges back up quickly. I’ve only had the phone a year

You don't say what phone. Some carry 12 months warranty and some 24 months. However, batteries are  considered a service item so you will need to contact the manufacturer to  check their policy

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

You could have a rogue app @Kaylaze that is causing problems. I suggest that you close all apps and only reopen the ones that you need when you need them.

Depending on your handset, you might be able to obtain information about battery usage in the Settings. For example, 5.1 per cent of my battery usage today was via YouTube.
